I’ve restarted Alie Makes as a lifestyle blog for myself. I’ve started a journey of self discovery towards a healthy life, and this is how I’ve chosen to document it. Maybe it can help inspire you to make a healthy life for yourself!

Journal/Planning: For over a year now I’ve been journaling, planning, and into paper crafts. I mainly share on Istagram, but I’ve decide to feature my journal layouts & prompts, planner layouts, tips on supplies, etc on this platform. Journaling has helped me to be very introspective and learn about myself… leading me onto this journey of making a healthy life.
Faith: This is a new aspect to my life that I am exploring. I was raised Christian, became an atheist and agnostic, and now I am returning to Christianity. I’ll focus on scriptures, songs, books, and services that I find inspiring as well as showing off my Bible journaling.
Food: Who doesn’t like food? Me! I’ve spent most of my life not liking to eat or cook and therefore consumed a lot of mega processed and fast foods. I need to change this! I finally have a relatively nice kitchen, armed with several cook books, and the will to learn. I will be featuring recipes that I liked (or didn’t like). This summer I will also focus on cooking all truly gluten-free food, as my mother and sister have Celiac disease.
Home: Becoming healthy involves liking and enjoying where you live. I tend to be messy and take forever to get settled in. I have a new apartment, and I am not going to let that happen! I’ll feature interior design and any cleaning tips/schedules I find that work for me.
Self: This will focus on any beauty regiments I’ve discovered, mental practices, and anything else that helps me to feel better and be healthy!
